In the spring and summer of 2025, HUA Universal Arts Entertainment presentsThe Wedding Banquet: A Cultural Season — an annual citywide cultural initiative inspired by the original Broadway-style musical adaptation of Ang Lee’s iconic film The Wedding Banquet.
This season transforms the emotional resonance of the stage into a living dialogue with the city, the community, and the lives we lead.
This is more than an extension of a musical —it is an open invitation.
Starting April 20, through online co-creation × urban installations × live performances,we invite you to speak the unspoken,and share the shape of "home" that lives in your heart.

➌ What Was Said, What Was Heard｜Urban Dialogue WallReal, unspoken conversations will appear across Taipeias pop-up quote installations —giving voice to the love that often goes unheard.

Developed by a seasoned Broadway creative team in collaboration with leading Taiwanese theater artists,this original musical adaptation of Ang Lee’s 1993 Golden Bear-winning film reimagines the storythrough the lens of cross-cultural identity, intimate relationships, and family expectations.
